Both of you remain on my heart and in my prayers. Your family is so incredibly special. Bringing awareness to Michael's Hope is a cause that affects so many families of all shapes and sizes. As you know, this cause is special to me for more than one reason. Your family is at the top of that list! All my love to the Ray family, to Averie, to Athena and the entire family. There is hope, peace, and freedom for all those who struggle with the pain of addiction. David and Debbie and family, my heart has been broken this week knowing the heartache that you and your family are going through after your sudden loss of Michael. I know too well the pain that is there for all of you. But, I also know so well our Loving Lord Who is near to all of you tonight. I know He is because His Word promised us that He would be near to the broken hearted, (Psalm 34:18) and that is us. I know that, in ministry, you have walked through many difficult situations in times of loss. All of us in ministry have. But, when it “comes home”, we learn the depth of God’s love in a whole new way. Let His love and His Word pour over your broken hearts. He is the Healer of wounded hearts. I’m keeping you in my heart and prayers every day. Please know that I love you, and that Gary and Kevin loved you both very much.
